If New York City Is the First COVID Wave, Is the North Country the Second?
As of April 5, 203 North Country residents have tested positive for COVID 19; four of them have died. These numbers might seem minuscule in comparison to New York City’s staggering statistics thru April 2: 87,414 persons with positive test results, 2,935 of whom have died, with both numbers increasing daily. Yet, North Country public health officials would probably tell us that the COVID positives reported here represent an undercount since no community testing has been done for the past two weeks.
